The Dregs came joint second tonight with arch-rivals “The Famous Five”, and I went up for the tie break. The question was “In what year did the United Arab Emirates join the United Nations”. I guessed 1968, my rival 1972. In fact it was 1971, so they won the free beers and the Dregs walked home empty-handed.
