We only managed fourth place tonight, which is frankly not good enough. Table 19 were the winners, beating the Locals on a tie-break. I blame our poor showing on the large number of sport-related questions in tonight’s quiz, as sport is definitely our weakest area of knowledge. The only one of us who knows anything about sport is part-time Dreg Scrumpy Chris, who was sadly absent tonight. SteveC was also absent, but his knowledge of sport (and just about everything else) is so slender that it made no difference to the result.
